How often should I clean my carpets?
Industry standards recommend that carpets should be cleaned every 6 to 12 months to maintain hygiene. With years of experience, we agree that steam cleaning your carpets regularly helps to increase their lifespan. By cleaning your carpets and ridding them of bacteria and dirt build-up, you will have a better air quality, free from bacteria and pollutants which cause allergies such as asthma.
Do I have to clear my furniture out of the rooms myself?
Our team will remove large pieces of furniture, such as dining tables and sofas. In preparation for our cleaning, we ask you remove any valuables, objects and smaller pieces of furniture so that we can get started as quickly as possible with getting your carpets sparkling clean.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Before we arrive it is recommended that you vacuum your carpet and clear the floor area. You should remove valuables or fragile items as well as any smaller items of furniture. Our team will do the rest and help with any large items of furniture.
How long will you take to clean my carpets?
This will depend on the size of the space and also the fabric and thickness of your carpet, rug or soft furnishing. When we have our initial consultation, we will be able to advise you how long the work will take, what you need to do to prepare for cleaning, and how to care for your items once the cleaning is complete.
Will the products damage my carpets?
No. We have years of experience and we have taken the time and attention to source products that are effective without being harsh on your carpets. The products we use do not contain strong chemicals and will help to softly disintegrate dirt so that we can draw it out of the fabric. Can you remove all stains?
We do our best to remove stubborn stains. With our experience, we can remove the majority of ingrained dirt in your carpet. We use a specially formulated stop and stain remover to endeavour to remove the most stubborn stains. Unfortunately, sometimes stains are really old and it isn’t possible to remove them. Upon consultation, we will be able to advise you about this. It’s also good to know that as part of our cleaning, we use an anti-soiling agent to prevent new dirt or stains seeping into your carpets fabric!
What equipment do you use?
Our carpet cleaning equipment consists of the best technology we have found when it comes to removing embedded dirt in carpets and upholstery. This revolutionary steam cleaning system uses a hot water extraction method which cleans from the bottom up. We have found that this gives the most in-depth cleaning from the root of the carpet to the top, drawing out dirt and breaking up heavy soiling.
Are your products safe?
Yes. We care about protecting your flooring and the people in your space. Our products are all highly effective but most importantly, they are free from harsh chemicals and toxins. We also care about the environment, which is why we use environmentally safe products to treat your carpets. Our cleaning products are child-friendly, pet-friendly and toxin free.
